  3. The online application for the post is a two step process. Step-1: Sign-In/Registration & Step-2: Profile Creation. After Sign-In, you will receive Login ID and Password in your registered Email ID for completion of application form and online payment.
  4. A candidate can apply for one post/discipline only.

  7. Candidates in their own interest are advised to apply and submit application promptly and not to wait till the closing date and time for applying online. ONGC shall not be responsible, if candidates are not able to submit their application on account of last minute rush.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF ON-LINE APPLICATION

General Instructions:
1. Read the Instructions carefully and select "I Agree" and Press 'START' button to proceed further.
2. Please click here to download the Advertisement No. 1/2020(R&P) & Advertisement No. 4/2021(R&P) ‘ Recruitment of GTs in HR and CC Disciplines at E1 Level’ Please read it carefully before filling the online application and confirm your eligibility for the post advertised in all respects.

3. Before start of filling-up of application through on-line mode, the candidate should keep ready scanned copy of the following details/ documents:
  1. Valid E-Mail ID & Mobile Number.
  2. Scanned copy of the recent Passport Size Colour Photograph (not older than 3 weeks). The maximum digital size of scanned Photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm) and should be up to 20-50 KB. Candidate should ensure that the same photograph is used throughout the entire recruitment process
  3. Scanned image of Signature in JPG/JPEG format only. Signature (with black or blue ink only) should be under 10-20 KB.
  4. Matriculation Certificate as D.O.B Proof in PDF format below 1000 KB.
  5. Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) & Category Certificate (EWS) for Age relaxation and Fee Concession below 1000 KB in PDF format.
  6. Candidate’s Essential Educational Qualifications & Additional Inline Qualification (please calculate %-age from CGPA / OGPA as per university conversion formula).

    • Degree/Provisional Certificate of Essential Qualification

    • UGC(NET) - Result Copy
    • UGC(NET) - Admit Card Copy
  7. Discharge Certificate - applicable in case of Ex-Serviceman (ESM) in prescribed format
  8. Disability Certificate - applicable in case of Persons with Benchmarked Disability (PWBD).
  9. Photo Identification Card (Passport, Aadhaar, Driving License, Voted ID, etc.)
  10. Details of Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking for making payment through online mode (If applicable).
4. Category [General (UR)/EWS//OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PWBD/ESM] once filled by candidate in the on-line application form will not be changed and no benefit of age relaxation, fee concession, etc for will be admissible for any errors.

How to Apply:
I. Candidates should have a valid personal E-Mail ID and ensure that it is active during the entire recruitment process. Application Sequence No., User ID, Password and all other important communication will be sent on the same registered e-mail ID (please ensure that email sent to this mail box is not redirected to your junk/spam folder or mobile no.)
II. Candidates should take utmost care in furnishing/providing the correct details while filling-up the on-line application. YOU CAN EDIT THE INFORMATION BEFORE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION.Once the Form is submitted, it can't be edited.
III. The process for submitting the application for Recruitment of GTs in HR and CC Disciplines at E1 Level at ONGC:

Sign-up (Step-I):

  • Sign-up by filling-up by Post Applied, Candidate Name, Mobile No. and E-mail ID. The candidates will receive Application Sequence No (User ID) & Password on their registered Email ID or mobile number.

Registration (Step-II):

  • Re-login and Click Go-To Application Tab at top left corner of screen. The candidate has to complete Online Registration by filling-up eligibility details, personal details, qualification details, experience details and upload relevant documents (photo/signature/ certificates/ documents) and Submit Application by clicking submit button. Once Application is submitted the candidate will be automatically redirected to Payment Gateway (SBI ePay) for remitting registration charges online as applicable.
IV. Application once submitted cannot be withdrawn or modified and registration charges once paid will not be refunded.

STEP-I Registration/ Sign Up
a. Candidates agreeing to Terms & Conditions of recruitment may apply by clicking (√) ‘I Agree’ in the Box & press 'START' button.
b. Sign-up by selecting Post Applied and by filling up Name, Mobile No. and E-mail ID.
c. On completion of Step-I candidates will receive Application Sequence No (User ID) & Password on their registered E-mail ID.

STEP-II : Filling-up of Application
1. After Sign-up, candidate may click on “Go To Application Form” icon at top right corner, select category and other mandatory details and complete Personal Details, Qualification Details (along with UGC-NET details), Upload relevant documents (photo/signature/ certificates/ documents) and submit registration charges (if applicable) through Online mode via Debit card, Credit card/Wallets or Internet Banking through SBI ePay Payment Gateway.
2. Instructions regarding scanning of Photograph, Signature: Candidates should upload the scanned (digital) image of their photograph and signature in Jpg/jpeg format, as per the process given below:

i. Photograph Image:

  • Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture on light background (not older than 03 weeks).
  • Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
  • The size of the scanned image should be up to 50 kb in jpg/ jpeg format only.

ii. Signature image:

  • The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black ink pen.
  • The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
  • Please scan the signature area only and not the entire page.
  • Size of file should be up to 20 kb in Jpg/jpeg format only.

ii. Scanned Copy of Relevant Certificates & Documents:

  • Matriculation Certificate as D.O.B Proof.
  • Category/Caste Certificates respectively for EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PWBD/J&K/Ex-Serviceman/ESM for Fee/Age relaxation.
  • Certificate of Disability (for Persons with Benchmark Disability) as mentioned in vacancy announcement.
  • Discharge Certificate (applicable in case of Ex-Serviceman)
  • Certification of Educational Qualification/Experience Certificate as per eligibility criteria.
    • Mark Sheets of all semesters/years of Essential Qualification in single pdf
    • Conversion Certificate, if not applicable upload blank pdf.
    • Degree/Provisional Certificate of Essential Qualification

Note: The size of file should be up to 1000 KB in PDF/JPG/JPEG format only.

After uploading Photo, Signature images and relevant certificate (if applicable), Click on ‘Pre-View’ and check whether particulars filled-in are correct in all respects. In case of any error, the same can be edited before finally submitting the application by clicking ‘Submit’ button. Once ‘Submit’ button is clicked then Application will be submitted and It will be showing on screen 'Your application has been successfully submitted'.

3. Once the application is submitted, candidates automatically will be redirected to SBI ePay Payment Gateway to deposit the Registration Fee of INR 300/- + 18% GST + Bank Charges (if applicable) through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Wallets. Candidate may generate payment acknowledge slip for future reference.
4. Guidelines for remittance of fee are as under:
  • Post submission, the candidate will be re-directed to SBI ePay Payment Gateway to make the online payment of Registration Charges.
  • Kindly verify the details and make the payment via the different payment modes.
  • Post successful payment of application fees, candidate will be redirected to back to Online Application Portal.
  • Follow online instruction at PG portal, Do not click Refresh or Back Button
  • Candidate may retain the online payment transaction with him for future reference
5. Candidates are advised avoid multiple registrations for the same post. In case of multiple registrations, the last registration will only be considered as a valid application and all previous registration attempts will be automatically deleted.
